Pub of the Year News

Congratulations to this year's award winning pubs in our branch:

Pub of the Year : Red Lion, Horley.
Cider Pub of the Year : Pear Tree, Hook Norton.

The Regional phase of CAMRA's Pub of the Year judging is currently underway. If any branch members would like to participate by visiting and scoring the three pubs which were selected as winners in the counties of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, the voting form can be downloaded from our branch website and should be returned (to the address shown on the form) by 10th August:

Branch AGM

The branch AGM will soon be held, all branch members are welcome to attend, at the White Horse in Duns Tew, Monday 17th July from 8pm.

Beer Festivals

Check the branch website's diary page for news of beer festivals across the area.

Also mark 8th to 12th July in your calendars when the Great British Beer Festival returns once more to Olympia. Tickets are on sale now. For more info see the GBBF website.

The branch will be visiting Toddington by minibus on Saturday 18th August for the ale and steam festival taking place on the platforms of Toddington and Winchcombe stations. Leaving Banbury at 10am and returning for 7pm, with pickups/dropoffs in Hook Norton and Chipping Norton. Contact our membership secretary Paul Forrest (paul@northoxon.camra.org.uk) for details. Cost is £15 for CAMRA members, £20 for non-members.
